My name is Jessica Kwong. I am 21 years old, born in Sacramento, CA, now residing happily on the central coast. My major is child psychology and this is my first semester at Brandman University. I hope to attain a bachelor's degree and master's degree. Then be able to apply my education as a school psychologist and marriage/family therapist. Eventually it would be my dream to have a private practice in therapy. I chose these career goals ultimately because I enjoy working with people and children.
For the readings this week I enjoyed reading about the Digital Information fluency mode, it gave me a visual and verbal way to dissect information as well as it using it to my advantage. Being able to be efficient in reading is great tool not just in school, but in my life as well. I feel by using less electronic text and using the Digital Information Fluency Mode to my advantage I will have an enriched and successful information experience.

ReplyDeleteIt is great that you want to become a family/marriage therapist. I'm currently getting my bachelors in social work. I want to work with children because I enjoy being around them. I have to agree with you that being able to dissect information is useful not only in school. I feel like this class will challenge how we are able to get the most important information and have the right resources to find them. Good luck in your education.
